Xperia X10 Review – Sony Ericsson Android Phone

There may be good news for those fans of Sony Ericsson or for those who are looking for a reliable Android phone. Sony Ericsson has released their brand new Android mobile phone. They name this model the Xperia X10. Coming with a sleek design and slim dimension, this phone model should indeed be taken into consideration by the mobile phone users, especially those who are seeking a new mobile for their awesome gadget collections.

Coming with a TFT screen measuring 4 inches in its diagonal, the Xperia X10 is capable of displaying 65K color to the user. To give it a more beautiful look, Sony Ericsson has offered the model with 2 available colors which are the Sensuous Black and the Luster White. Fortunately, the model is not heavy either. Carrying only 4.8 oz with it, this model will fit conveniently into the pocket of its every single user.

Of course, there are more to the model. Performing a digital camera that has a maximum resolution of up to 8.1 Megapixels, this model is certainly a great tool to shoot the best moments in life. Yet, to focus on something that is quite a distant away, the model will enable the user to zoom in the object up to 16x digitally which is simply amazing. Auto focus is certainly an available option and so is face recognition feature.

This face recognition is a unique one. With this feature, the model is capable of recognizing up to 5 faces in the pictures taken by the user and then save those pictures accordingly into its phonebook. And to prevent the pictures taken from getting blurred, Sony Ericsson has featured this particular model with an image stabilizer.

One more interesting fact about the model's camera is that the pictures taken can directly be uploaded online in no time at all. This is possible thanks to the picture blogging feature offered by the model. For brighter pictures, flash is certainly available. If the user likes the geo-tagging stuff, this model will not be a disappointment. And when the objects to be pictured are smiling, the model will be able to identify it and then automatically take the picture. One thing that has not been mentioned yet about the camera is that it can also be used to record great videos.

Do you like music? Well, with this model, you have nothing to worry about. Popular music formats such as the MP3 and AAC is not something that will embarrass the model. In fact, the Xperia X10 will not have a bit of problem playing these music formats. And there is also the PlayNow ™ feature as well as Bluetooth A2DP stereo function. The user can even attach to the model a headset of their choice thanks to the 3.5mm jack available with the phone. But when it comes to entertainment, there is more to music. Thanks to the Mediascape feature, the user will be able to either view photos or listen to the music or even watch or stream videos from any source including YouTube.

But a phone without Facebook may not really be a phone today. Therefore, Sony Ericsson offers their Timescape ™ feature with the Xperia X10 . This is a one stop for the user to take part in the society by means of either Twitter or Facebook or e-mails or everything they can think of. Better yet, this is supported by a great internet experience especially thanks to the 3G Turbo that offers a broadband similar performance for high speed internet.

Get lost in the middle of nowhere? Do not worry. The Xperia X10 has a built-in aGPS to help the user. Therefore, it will not be an impossible thing for the user to access map-based applications that may well include Google Maps ™ and Wisepilot. The user can even add location information with the geo-tagging feature.

In terms of connectivity, the model comes with Bluetooth capability within certified Wi-Fi and USB connectivity capability. The model also supports PC synchronization. With all these features, there will be no such thing as "unable to connect".

Now, do not you wonder what Sony Ericsson has put into the model to support all those pretty fantastic features explained above? Well, I do. To my surprise, Sony Ericsson has powered the model with a processor featuring a frequency of 1GHz. As you can see, this is of course more than sufficient for a mobile phone. No wonder there are so many fantastic features. Yet, if the user does not feel enough about the phone, Android Market ™ is always open for them so that the user may give something more to the already awesome Xperia X10. And, to make things even better, there are a lot of accessories that the user can choose to make the model look more customized and represent the style of the user.

However, for those former Sony Ericsson mobile phone users who may worry about the phone screens turning absolutely white without nothing to see all of a sudden, they may not have to worry so much when they consider making a purchase on the Xperia X10 which, of course, comes with a far more advanced technology. In short, the Xperia X10 is a wonderful gadget.
